On Thursday, February 16, the Faith Lutheran Church of Plano Knots of Love sewing guild celebrated a milestone. The group completed its 5,000th quilt to donate to Lutheran World Relief.

"That’s a lot of cutting, piecing, stitching, and tying all done with love and for the glory of God," said Faith Lutheran Church of Plano Women of Faith President Mary Afsharirad of Plano. "Congratulations to Knots of Love members past and present on this outstanding accomplishment! 

Students from Faith Lutheran School of Plano have assisted the sewing guild with their quilting work for several years by helping to tie quilts that the group creates.
