Please join us at the 2018 Dallas Slavic Heritage Luncheon to celebrate the vibrant Slavic cultures alive in North Texas!
Whether you are descended from Slavic ancestors, or simply share a love for the history, cultures and traditions of the region, you will enjoy the afternoon.
Our goals are to foster unity among Dallas organizations of various Slavic* cultures, and to educate the public about the many wonderful events taking place in Dallas Slavic circles.
Enjoy a delicious buffet of lunch stations at Cru Restaurant & Wine Bar and meet special representatives from local Slavic cultural groups. Professor Paul Robert Magocsi, Ukrainian Chair at the University of Toronto, will discuss the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of Czechoslovakia. Performances by The Czech Folk and by Jagoda Polish Dancers will round out the afternoon.
Please note that seating is very limited for this event. We recommend early registration to confirm your seat. For the luncheon, a gluten-free ticket option is available.
Purchase of a luncheon ticket also includes admittance to a V.I.P. “pre-event” Morning Coffee from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Plano Environmental Education Center, 4116 W. Plano Pkwy., Plano, to personally meet our speaker, Professor Paul Robert Magocsi. He will educate us about people of Carpatho-Rusyn ethnicity, and sign copies of his books at this time.
