Capital One Associates’ Back-to-School Supply Drive Nets More Than $70,000 in Materials 

Approximately 100 Capital One associates recently completed the annual Capital One back-to-school supply drive benefitting local schools and nonprofits. Totaling more than $70,000, the school supplies were collected and sorted by Capital One associates on August 25 to be distributed to Barron Elementary of Plano ISD; Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County; Communities in Schools, Dallas; Girls Inc., Dallas; MLK Jr. Community Center, Dallas; The Samaritan Inn, McKinney. Provided by Capital One associates, donations included hundreds of backpacks, binders, markers, crayons and other similar items. The Capital One annual back-to-school supply drive allows local Capital One Financial Services and Capital One Bank associates to give back to the community, and equips area students for successes in this school year and beyond.
