Recently, more than 7,000 Capital One associates completed the annual Capital One back-to-school supply drive benefitting seven local nonprofits. Surpassing a goal of $50,000, Capital One collected and sorted more than $80,000 in school supplies on August 20 and distributed the items on August 21 to Plano ISD; Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County; Communities in Schools, Dallas; Girls Inc., Dallas; MLK Jr. Community Center, Dallas; Community Storehouse, Keller and The Samaritan Inn, McKinney.

Provided by Capital One associates, donations included hundreds of binders, notebooks, markers, crayons and other similar items. The Capital One annual back-to-school supply drive allows local Capital One Financial Services and Capital One Bank associates to give back to the community and equips area students for success in their future endeavors.
