Maura Diaz, Midfielder for FC Dallas taking flight in the iFly Dallas tunnel

FC Dallas players Mauro Diaz and Mauro Rosales tested their skills off the turf and into a wind tunnel at iFly Dallas.  The 50’ tall wind tunnel accurately stimulates free-fall conditions in a recirculating column of wind averaging from 100 -125 mph, creating the sensation of flight.  While waiting for the FC Dallas season opener to begin March 6, Diaz and Rosales recently flew with the same grace and agility they exhibit on the soccer field.

iFLY Dallas is located at 8380 State Highway 121 in Frisco. Open 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 p.m. on Fridays; 9 a.m. – 11 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. – 10 p.m. Sunday.   Flights are available every thirty minutes.  iFly offers a variety of affordable packages.  Each first-time flyer package includes a training session, flight gear and flight time in the tunnel with one-on-one personal assistance from an instructor.  Flights are booked every thirty minutes for convenience and enjoyment.  iFly also offers corporate and other group flights as well as children’s educational sessions focused on the physics of flying.
