  to participate in Vacation Bible School and pre-teens to participate Vaca
 tion Bible Xtreme\, Tuesday\, June 7 – Friday\, June 10\, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m
 .\, at St. Andrew UMC\, 5801 W. Plano Parkway in Plano. There is no cost\,
  and registration is required by May 30. \nVacation Bible School (VBS) is
  for children entering kindergarten\, or 5 years by 9/1\, through 3rd Grad
 e for the 2022-23 school year\, and Vacation Bible Xtreme (VBX) is for tho
 se entering 4th and 5th Grade for the 2022-23 school year. All ages will e
 njoy Bible activities\, music\, snacks\, crafts\, and more.  This year’s t
 heme will take children on an “off-road” adventure as St. Andrew United Me
 thodist Church transforms into “Monumental VBS/VBX.” \n“During this four-d
 ay amazing adventure\, we will travel through the colorful canyons and sun
 baked trails of the American southwest exploring God’s awesome power and c
 reation\,” said Rachel Kortum\, Director of Children's Ministry\, St. Andr
 ew UMC. “VBS/VBX will help children build a rock-solid faith for the road
  ahead\, no matter what comes their way! Everyone will gain a ‘grand new’

  1986 in the spirit of its namesake\, a disciple of Jesus. The life of the
  Apostle Andrew embodies the church's mission\, which is to invite the Chr
 istian-ish and the unchurched to become passionate servants of Christ. The
  congregation of St. Andrew follows Jesus\, lives in relationship\, serves
  others\, and takes risks in faith. Worship includes four services each we
 ekend on a 21.2-acre campus at the corner of Plano Parkway and Mira Vista
  in Plano\, Texas\, where more than 2\,000 people gather each weekend. Rec
 ent renovation allows the Sanctuary to host worship in both Traditional st
 yle\, with the classic pipe organ\, and Contemporary style\, with a new LE
 D center screen and lighting technology. Small groups and Bible studies ga
 ther on campus and throughout the region every day of the week. Mission op
